The Art of Lisa Wilde
ILL, March 2008
In March I was part of a group show titled Ill at the Sixth Street Gallery, Vancouver WA. And my painting 'Infection' was used on the postcards for the show.

About the show:
Illness - it's something that affects all of us in one way or another. Even though this may seem like a sad inevitability, we can often find strength, compassion, and community through our illness. In "Ill", sixteen artists from five states explore the many facets of illness in ways that are both serious and playful.

Scattered
Scattered is one my newest painting in a series of water themed abstracts. The rounded transparent shapes, movement and continuously changing colors of water are my inspiration for this series. My goal is for each painting to be a pool of color and organic shapes that invite the viewer to sink in and surrender to the current.
Dogwood Red
